Ms. Blackwell is certified to teach 7-12 English, along with a master’s degree in education in curriculum and instruction with a focus on reading K-8. Teaching has been her dream since kindergarten, driven by a passion for fostering authentic relationships with students and creating meaningful learning experiences. With a proven track record as a top-performing teacher, she is dedicated to helping children exceed their own expectations in learning. Symone takes great pleasure in guiding her students to achieve remarkable academic growth. Her commitment to education is reflected in her continuous efforts to innovate and inspire in the classroom.

Raleigh Thornton III

Raleigh has been actively involved in community service since 2014, working with organizations such as United Against Violence, Camp Anytown, I.C.A.R.E Mentoring, Akron Hope, B.R.O.T.H.E.R.S, and Crowned Scholars Mentoring. Time spent in the classroom along with an intentional pursuit of community service demonstrates his commitment to helping young scholars build positive habits and maintain a growth mindset in the face of personal and academic challenges.
